Blair Tax Consulting is owned by Thomas 'Del' Blair, CMI. He began his career in the property tax business in 1987 with the Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD), learning the business from the county's perspective. After five years with the Business Personal Property and Commercial Real Estate Departments at DCAD, he began working extensively in the ad valorem property tax area providing consulting and compliance services. Del joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000 as a Director In the National Property Tax Group, where he was in charge of the property tax practice for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Del is a licensed Senior Property Tax Consultant in the state of Texas and a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT). He is the current Vice Chair and instructor at the IPT Basic Property Tax School.
